Trenton Chen is the co-founder and CEO of GoFreight, a Freight Forwarding Operating System now used by more than 1,000 forwarders, mainly in North America.
Trenton came to freight from an unlikely place. He spent the early part of his career as an engineer at TSMC, the world's largest semiconductor foundry, and holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Syracuse University. When he looked closely at freight forwarding, he saw an industry whose software had never quite kept pace with the people running the business — so in 2017, he set out to rebuild it from the ground up.
On AI, he's more interested in what's working for forwarders today than in what sounds impressive — a builder's instinct he brings to every conversation.
